  • Buying a bike is a very personal experience, not only the trust a stranger to have mechanicly cared for the bike but also that they haven't thrashed the hell out of it, dropped it or any number of other horror story possibilities. Adding into that not being able to visit the bike in person before the sale and only having assurance and photographs to go on, but also handing over several thousend pounds to the seller on the condition they'd pass the bike on to the transporters, the experience was tense to say the least.
    I chose Headstock to transport the bike to me because out of all the quotes I requested (and I asked most companies offering this service!), not only did they offer the best time frame, to say I called on Friday afternoon and the bike was collected Monday morning. But more importantly they were the only company who called me, making a personal introduction and assuring me the bike would be looked after, looked over and checked before they took responsibility for it. The bike was picked up as scheduled, Claire called me to confirm it was all okay and to my surprise it was due to be delivered 2 hours ahead of schedule. Adam turned up exactly on time, carefully unloaded my new machine and even gave it a quick polish over all the while being professional but also approachable.
    I am not generally fast to praise people for completing an assigned task, but in this case it is more than earned. Headstock Transport fullfilled and exceeded their agreement, with excellent service from initial contact to the delivery of the bike and wave goodbye. Not only have they restored a little faith in others for me but have also proven that there are still some people who hold their proffession in high regard and seek to excel at the execution of it.

    I thought that although we encountered some problems at the outset, mainly due to the weather that when the bike was finally delivered it was in immaculate condition.   • Hi Claire - -Adam delivered bikes safely last evening despite M25 being closed (and still is you can tell him). Below is a missive you are welcome to put on your Website. I had seen on E-bay the bike of my dreams. A restored DB 34 Goldstar with MOT and Tax, which I proceeded to view and won the bid. The next problem was how to get the bike 60 miles round M25 or North Circular from sellers house to my house, never having ridden a Goldstar before. Via a search engine I tracked down Headstocks and was very happy with their professionalism and price. Despite the M25 being closed, the bike was delivered precisely on time, safely and securely. I cannot thank Claire and Adam enough.

    I Just want to say a great big "CHEERS" for handling the transport of my son's bike from Lincoln to Aberdeen, not only was I well informed during the whole process via Email, I was also kept up to date on the phone as well.
    This kind of service is very rare these days, as most companies regard you as just a number on a job sheet and rip you off during the process. I found Headstocks Transport very very competitive indeed, in fact some of the transport companies I got quotes from quoted me more than double what Headstocks offered.
    Finally, and what has to be the icing on the cake, was Headstocks Transport are specialised in transporting a bikers pride and joy, and make sure the bike is fastened down correctly, instead of rattling around a van like some ten bob firm might do.
    I would not hesitate in recommending this superb company and the people that run it.

Hi, How is this... I recently bought an FZ 750 from a shop in Kent. I really had to think long and hard about buying even though it was a very reasonable price because I had no idea how I was going to get it back to Merseyside. I did consider hiring a van but it's one hell of a round trip. Then I saw an ad for Headstocks and when I worked out the cost it seemed pretty reasonable. I bought the bike and Headstocks deilvered it exactly when they said they would. The driver was really friendly and helpful and like they say in their adverts the only things in the van were bikes, well protected by foam and well secured. I recently used your delivery service! I had a bike brought from Kent to Glasgow! From the off the service was first class, replying to questions and emails faster than I could have hoped for. He took care of all the arrangments with the vendor. Adam called to say he would be at my house for 3pm on Sunday , he was there at 3pm on Sunday!!. With the bike well strapped to the wall of his van sorrounded by cushions and dense foam no damage was ever likely to take place. I will indeed use his service again, and I have even advertised it on 2 ads I placed recently, giving me and the buyer a logistic solution.!! Thanks Adam see you again!!!
